Onboarding Essentials: Tools for Equipping Your New Hires to Succeed

« back to classes page
Preferred registration deadline: November 1st

3 CEUs/CPH units

First impressions are hard to shake.  When new employees join your organization, both they and your existing staff will be quickly assessing whether the fit is a good one.

If you are in charge of orienting new employees or often have new employees joining your team, this workshop is for you. The class will provide processes and tools for ensuring new employees feel welcome.  We’ll examine what it takes to help a skilled person feel equipped to do their work in a new environment.  Finally, we’ll consider what you can to foster feelings of pride and loyalty in your new employee towards your organization.

General Admission: $60**

Class size is limited to 28.

**Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available. Admission discounts apply automatically in your cart, based on your profile in our registration software.
