Preferred registration deadline: July 12th

3 CEUs/CPH units

In a variety of settings, social workers support individuals who may be considering eligibility for disability benefits from Social Security for themselves or a family member.  This class will provide you an opportunity to increase your familiarity with the SSI and SSDI programs.

We will discuss both the benefits and challenges of these programs.  You will leave the workshop equipped with the knowledge needed to assist your client through what can be a complicated application process.

General Admission: $60**
Class size is limited to 45.
**Discounts on admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, recent alumni (for 2 years after graduation), other alumni (more than 2 years after graduation), field instructors, faculty, and staff. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University colleagues. No other discounts are available. Discounted admission is automatically defined by your role selection in your personal profile.
