Around the office or around the house, our own communication style – direct or inferential – affects not only what we say, but also what we hear and what we are likely to observe from non-verbal information. Participants in this workshop will become familiar with the communication styles and learn ways to adapt to facilitate better communication with those of a different style. Strategies will be presented to improve problem solving skills and teamwork. We will discuss the role of listening skills to prevent misinterpretation of information.
