Whether you are aspiring to your first people management role or just looking to be a better, more effective manager, management of people relies on skills that can be learned. These include building a culture, selecting and orienting job applicants, motivating and supporting employees, measuring work performance, and leading teams. The course includes readings and applied practice scenarios.
Class size is limited to 16.

This class will include both degree-seeking graduate students and practicing professionals. Individuals registering through Professional Development will receive continuing education units - but not academic credit - for the class.

Recommended reading purchase of Strategic Supervision by Peter J Pecora is optional.
