In addition to being informative and persuasive, presentations should also be enjoyable and engaging. This two-part series will guide you through the basics of constructing a presentation and offer ideas for making presentations more engaging and fun for the audience.
In our first session, we’ll consider how to adapt the message to the audience, selecting and arranging content, word choices, visual resources, and presentation technology. Participants will apply this information by working together on constructing brief presentations.
Our second session is all about delivery, including modes of delivery, using vocal qualities effectively, and visual aspects of effective delivery. We will discuss strategies for handling questions and answer sessions, as well as techniques to gauge audience satisfaction.
