Managing Public Speaking Anxiety: Practical Techniques in Public Speaking

« back to classes page
Preferred registration deadline: January 31st

3 CEUs/CPH units

While some people feel at home in the spotlight, many accomplished professionals find speaking in front of others to be nerve-wracking and stressful. This session will provide tips, tricks, and guidance on how to manage anxiety when communicating with others in various public speaking settings so that your content and personality can shine.

The workshop will help you prepare to speak confidently, analyze the audience and environment for maximum impact, and prepare for what you’ll do if your presentation doesn’t go as well as hoped. The class experience includes impromptu speeches, hands-on activities, small group exercises and class discussion.

General Admission: $60**

Class size is limited to 30.
