Creating Better Workplaces through Authentic Appreciation

« back to classes page
Preferred registration deadline: November 15th

3 CEUs/CPH units

At non-profit organizations, most of our employees are more motivated by the mission than by the money they make. To retain valued team members and maintain a positive organizational culture, it is vitally important that we show our appreciation for each team member’s contributions in ways that are meaningful to each individual.

Based on the book “5 Languages of Appreciation at Work,” you’ll leave this workshop with knowledge and resources to begin building a culture of appreciation. Learn 5 different expressions of appreciation that could motivate employees. A strategy will be shared to make appreciation part of your every-day work, not “one more thing to do.”

General Admission: $60**

Class size is limited to 28.

**Discounts on workshop admission are offered to the Brown School’s students, alumni, and field instructors. We also offer a discount to full-time graduate students in other programs and to our Washington University faculty/staff colleagues. No other discounts are available. Admission discounts apply automatically in your cart, based on your profile in our registration software.
